Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is provided in good faith and is not legal advice.

1. Data we collect

Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your Google account identifier.
Audio and video files you upload for transcription.
Transcripts and formatted text generated from your uploads.
A payment-processor (Stripe) customer identifier and billing history. Card numbers are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored by us.

2. How we use it

We use your data solely to deliver the service: to transcribe and format your uploads, to operate billing and credits, and to secure and support your account. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your audio or transcripts to train our own models.

3. Subprocessors

To provide the service we share data with the following processors. Your audio and/or text is transmitted to them only as needed to perform the task:

Stripe — payment processing and card storage.
Cloudflare R2 — storage of uploaded audio.
Groq — speech-to-text transcription.
Google (Gemini) — cleanup and formatting of the transcript.

4. Retention

Uploaded audio is automatically deleted approximately 14 days after processing. Transcripts are retained until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting your account permanently erases your transcripts and any stored audio.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time from the "Danger zone" on the billing page. For any other request, contact us at the address below.

6. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie (auth_token) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
